House of What?!

Hi! It's me, Monika, from House of Koopslie. In case you didn't already know, House of Koopslie is an Edmonton based company specializing in fashion accessories. We've been around since 2010. In 2014 we launched our everyday every way bamboo headbands for women. Our headbands quickly became our best selling, most sought after accessory. They are sold at hip boutiques and gift stores across Canada and Japan. For 2016, we have decided to concentrate on our superstar product, the everyday every way headband, exclusively. With beautiful packaging, high quality made in Canada craftsmanship, eco-friendly bamboo fabrics, and an excellent price point, our headbands are sure to fly off your shelves.

But seriously, what's the deal with Koopslie? When my husband and I were sorting out our marriage details, we were trying to figure out what to do about last names. Neither one of us is super traditional so we joked that we would become the Koopslies (a mix of Kupczak + Ainslie). In the end we both decided to take on both last names and became the Kupczak Ainslie family. However, Koopslie kind of stuck with us and to this day we still regularly get Christmas cards adressed to the Koopslies.
